What is Scouting America?
Scouting America is a youth organization that prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Whether it’s a campout, derby car race, or hike on the trail, we believe every adventure helps us uncover a little more about ourselves. We build the foundations for humility and compassion—strengthening character through actions—to prepare youth for a lifetime of leadership.
About Us
We are an active Scouting Troop based in Sturbridge, MA. We welcome boys ages 11 - 18 to join us as we learn skills, face challenges, build friendships and explore!
Adventure for Everybody
Above are the requirements for joining our Troop, but Scouting America also offers Troop 163 for girls ages 11 through 17 and Pack 161 for youth ages 5 through 10; all based in Sturbridge!
